The coping finishes off the rough edge of the pool. Our
standard coping comes in:
Cast stone
White natural stone
Blue natural stone with bushhammer finish.
The coping is laid on mortar and pointed with silicon.
Coping is also available in other materials such as
rotproof wood, available on order.
Automatic hard cover
A cover has become a vital component of a swimming pool.
By blocking out the light, it prevents the proliferation
of microorganisms and thus reduces the use of chemicals.
The cover also provides protection against other types
of contamination such as leaves, insects, etc. The
electric cover is only available on pools 1.60m deep. It
can be retrofitted.
Manual covers
Deck-mounted covers are more simply designed and more
affordable. The reel, which is vital for storing the
cover, is made up of a two-wheeled base and a shaft.
This model is an excellent alternative for protecting
your pool at a reasonable price.
Winter cover
The porous, anti-UV treated winter cover is made of
opaque green polypropylene.
Overflow gutter
The overflow concept cleverly combines the practical and
aesthetic functions required in a modern swimming pool.
The surface water is skimmed along the entire width of
the pool by the overflow gutter, and is thus cleaned of
floating debris. This system is proven to be twenty
times more efficient that unsightly skimmers and returns
fitted along the inner walls of the pool. The overflow
gutter combines perfectly with the integrated automatic
hard cover and puts the water level a few centimetres
below the coping. The overflow gutter is an exclusive
LPW process and a patent has been filed at the European
Patent Office.
Counter-current system
We can't all have an Olympic pool in our garden. That's
why a counter-current system is ideal, allowing you to
swim on the spot without having to do tedious lengths.
Its powerful jet brings the pool to life, surrounding
your body, relaxing your muscles and reinvigorating your
mind. The massage wand brings hydrotherapy to your home.
The counter-current system gives you a home workout,
turning your pool into your very own fitness centre.
What's more, the increased circulation enhances the
cleaning of the surface water. The system is operated
directly from in the pool so you don't have to get out
of the water.
Underwater lighting
Underwater lighting not only lengthens those warm summer
days, it also adds style to your pool.
Dehumidification
Dehumidification is an important factor in the
construction of an indoor pool. Recovery of evaporated
chlorinated water prevents all sorts of damage to the
enclosing structure. LPW's dehumidification system is
combined with the ambient air heating. To prevent high
levels of evaporation, we strongly recommend that you
fit a cover. The price for the supply and installation
of a dehumidification system is calculated on quotation
only.
Heating
Water heating is a must to get the most out of the
summer months. Even though LPW builds pools with fully
insulated walls, and even if the pool has an insulating
cover, you still have to allow for approximately 10%
heat loss. Add another 5% loss in the pipes running to
the pool, and it becomes obvious that heating is not an
extravagance.
LPW's technical package includes a heat exchanger, which
can be connected to the central heating boiler in your
house or a dedicated boiler. The heat exchanger has two
circuits; the first contains hot water from the boiler
and the second contains cold water from the pool. When
it passes through the exchanger, the pool water is
heated before returning to the swimming pool.
Electronic disinfection
Electronic disinfection by ionisation is provided by a
copper ion generator based on a set of copper and
stainless steel electrodes. A microprocessor controls
the supply of direct current to the electrodes. This
results in the oxidation of organic matter and minerals
in the water and the release of copper ions which, as
well as preventing the reproduction of algae, cause
organic particles to flock together so that they are
then more easily caught by the filter. This process
provides an 80% reduction in the use of chlorine, which
is often a cause of sore eyes, respiratory problems and
dry skin.
Supplies and installation included.
The automatic chlorinator maintains an optimal level of
chlorine in conjunction with the ioniser.
The ioniser and the automatic chlorinator must be
installed together.
Plant block
The plant block is an approx. 1 mē stand that contains
all of the equipment necessary for the smooth running of
the pool, including the complete filtration installation
with valves, the heat exchanger, the overflow system,
the ionisation disinfection system and an automatic
chlorinator, the automatic water level control and four
lights. Its small footprint means that it can be placed
as close to the pool as possible. The plant block is
fully factory-assembled, and all of the units are
already connected to each other. This solution is much
more cost effective compared with the cost of the
individual components.
